Packaging Manager (f/m) 100%
The Global Packaging Manager coordinates all the packaging engineering and technology activities for all product transfers triggered by the program. As part of the Global Packaging Team, this position interacts with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate packaging related actions needed in order to ensure a smooth and seamless technical packaging transfer from the giving to the receiving site. This role supports the establishment of processes and packaging standards associated with the package engineering function within the Global Packaging Management team and according to the best fit with standards.
You will support Packaging Technology and Engineering processes and activities including component specification review and approval, and be responsible for documenting and communicating process requirements as well as reaching process effectiveness and compliance. Other major tasks will include conducting packaging related gap analyses within the transfers, deriving the needed activities and actions, coordinating with the relevant Global Packaging Manager, and monitoring the progress and accomplishments in order to ensure their on time fulfillment. You will also be expected to manage the packaging development process on projects ensuring they meet key project milestones while effectively utilizing processes and tools, as well as the packaging technology and engineering resources while providing direction for best practices with focus on continuous improvement.
To fill this exciting position, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Packaging engineering, or comparable experience in a regulated environment - preferably pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products. You must be a team player with management and organizational skills, and bring 2+ years of experience in Packaging engineering of OTC/ pharmaceutical products to the table. It is vital that you possess a deep understanding of Packaging Materials, Technologies, and Processes. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a positive and flexible attitude in a fast paced environment with consistent attention to detail and good judgement, a proactive approach, and good planning, communication, and presentation skills. Fluency in English is a must, and German, French, or Spanish in addition are an asset.
